…Says: Igbos must Unite for their Own good
A cleric, Rt Rev Ikechukwu Ekwemmuor has said that he got a revelation on the possibility of the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu being released before December 15, this year.
Rt Rev Ekwemmuor who is the President of World Christain International Ecumenical Center worldwide, hinted the revelation recently, at the Anambra Ecumenical Center, Aguleri, during a conference attended by prominent Christain leaders including Archbishops, bishops and clergy men drawn from various denominations.
He said the return of Kanu was being eagerly awaited, adding that the vision which he said, was granted by God, underscores the significance of the December 15 date.
Bishop Ekwemmuor equally emphasised the need for unity among the Igbo.
Similarly, , Professor Chukwuemeka Eze in his presentation at the conference, traced the genesis of what he called Igbo marginalisation back to colonial times. He identified love, faith, quality education and empowerment as tools to overcome the challenges.
Other speakers at the conference which was described a platform for Christians to seek God’s intervention for peaceful coexistence and security, Pastor Jeremiah Ihenatuche and Mrs Agatha Egenti admonished the Igbo to rely on God always as well as dedicate their time to spiritual pursuits.
